How to wear those plain black dress pants:

I like to pair black dress pants with a silky patterned blouse. These are pretty easy to find and always look awesome if you're feeling lazy and don't want to spend time on a complicated outfit. A small belt sinched at the waist still gives you a figure since dress pants tend to be looser.

Day Three!

If you're looking for a good suit, go to stores like Marshalls and TJMaxx and look in the CLEARANCE section. Thaat's right! I found this Calvin Klein suit on the clearance rack for $50! What a steal for such a nice and form fitting pant suit. The navy goes with most anything without just being plain black. A little bit of color goes a long way under a solid suit as well. Dress it up with a sparkly necklace to look fashionable but still professional!

Day Two of the first week! 

Tips: 
1) Go to unusual places to look for clothes. I never would've expected Sears to have such awesome dress pants! But they ended up having various sizes (including petite) and lots of color choices all for $20. The material is nice and the pants fit just right.
2) Always look at sale rack first! When I go into an expensive store I go straight to the sale section before even looking at anything else. If you know the store is too expensive, just keep those eyes from wandering!
3) Although outlets don't seem to be much cheaper, if you look at the sale section and shop smart you can find amazing deals.

Business Casual?

Well, I start an internship tomorrow, so of course I had to go out and buy new business casual outfits! Always exciting! I wanted to get the most for the least, so all or my items were inexpensive to start with or on sale. Gottah love that! Here is the first of five outfits that I'll be wearing to work this week. All were strategically planned because I don't want to be that girl that's too over the top for the first day on the job!

Another plus for these suits is that they are excellent for big waves at the beach or more recreational activities without having to wear a lap swimming suit.
